Finally, IBureau will provides inspection support during loading and shipping processes also

The loading and shipping process of pipe mill inspections involves several steps to ensure the quality, safety, and timely delivery of pipes to their intended destinations.

Pipes are properly packaged to protect them during transportation. This may involve wrapping, banding, or using protective coatings to prevent corrosion. The packaging also includes clear labeling with information such as pipe specifications, quantity, and handling instructions.

Loading is a critical step to prevent damage during transportation. Pipes are loaded onto trucks, containers, or other transport vehicles using appropriate lifting and handling equipment. Care is taken to secure the pipes and prevent movement during transit.

The logistics team coordinates the shipping process. This includes scheduling transportation, choosing the appropriate mode of transport (truck, rail, sea, or air), and ensuring that all necessary permits and customs documentation are in order.

Pipes are transported to their destination using the chosen mode of transportation. The shipping process is monitored to ensure that the pipes reach their destination safely and within the agreed- upon timeframe.

Upon reaching the destination, the pipes are unloaded using proper equipment and procedures to prevent damage. Unloading may take place at a storage facility, distribution center, or directly at the customer’s site.

Depending on the agreement with the customer, a final inspection may be conducted upon arrival. This ensures that the pipes have not been damaged during transit and meet the specified quality requirements.

Pipes may be stored at a designated location or immediately used for installation, depending on the customer’s needs. Proper storage conditions are maintained to prevent corrosion or other forms of deterioration.

IBureau will monitor the following surveillance activities during the loading and shipping process:

  • Review of data sheets, shipping documentation
  • Monitor storage, preservation and packing
  • Review shipping documentation
  • Monitor the coated pipes traceability as per release notes
